Ravi Chandran Ashwin will lose the entire season of Rising Pune Supergriants for the upcoming IPL 2017 Season due to a sports hernia. Ashwin reported groin pain and has been advised six to eight weeks of rehabilitation, but is expected to regain full fitness ahead of India’s title defence at the Champions Trophy in June.
Murli Vijay is also in danger to play the entire tournament for the Kings XI Punjab, it is due to wrist and shoulder injuries which he received in of doing well for the long domestic season of India. Vijay will need surgery on his right wrist and will have to go through rehabilitation for his left shoulder and not be able to participate in IPL 2017.
According to BCCI’s Statement Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav has injuries and said their injuries would require two weeks to be healthy. Jadeja has “issues” with spinning fingers, while Umesh pains his right hip and lower back. Both will miss the first two matches for their franchisees.
Gujarat Lions has first two matches are on April 7 and April 9, the Third Match at their Home Ground in Rajkot on 14 April. Kolkata Knight Riders represent Team Umesh, who plays in his first two matches on 7 April and 9 April and have 3rd Match against Kings XI Punjab theirat home ground on 13th April.
