India Vs Australia Test Series - India won this Series by 2 - 1

Day 4: 1st Session - India won by 8 wkts

A huge roar engulfs the HPCA Stadium as Rahane pulls Cummins for a six and then hammers a four next ball. He is winning this battle. 'India...India' chants at their peak.

Lyon to Rahane, outside off turning in, AR forcing the ball, off the back foot, against the turn and gets one to point. Nice batting this -- AR is hitting shots, but it only looks berserk, he is actually playing a smart game, not letting the spearhead settle. Rahul at the other end is intent on just playing calm and sedate -- but equally alert to opportunity. Lyon goes too short, Rahul rocks back and creates space for the square drive, through point, beating the fielder with placement, four.

Lyon tosses one up, Rahul drives against the turn. Nice shot, well in control, but Cummins fielding at mid off after bowling, dives and stops what could have been four. Lyon tries an appeal as Rahul pushes in defence, but the front foot is a long way outside off, plus a bit of edge onto pad as well. Just 17 short now.
